Rubber Ducky Kids

Items must be current and in excellent, clean, and odor free condition with no signs of wear and/or damage such as pulls, tears, holes, missing buttons, dysfunctional zippers and stains. Make sure you have scrutinized each item as though YOU were going to buy it.

Every item will be checked in during drop off and any unacceptable items will be sent home with the consignor. Please don't be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. We will be screening very closely so as to maintain the quality of the sale. We reserve the right to refuse any item that we feel may not sell. It is often easy to miss a spot or tear when you are getting your items ready at home. We want to be known for having the best quality merchandise and we want you as a purchaser to have confidence that you are buying the best at Rubber Ducky Kids.

RECALLS:

Consignors must check this list to ensure that they are not consigning any recalled items and ensure that items meet the standard lead limits and phthalates limits. It is important to us that only safe products are offered to our customers; therefore we ask that each consignor carefully check that none of their items have been recalled before bringing them to our sale. As the seller/owner of an item, it is the CONSIGNOR'S RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that each item meets the required safety standards and has been checked for recalls.  Get more information on recalls at www.cpsc.gov

You will be asked to sign a waiver stating that the items you bring to the sale have not been recalled and meet safety guidelines when you sign your Consignor Agreement. If you are dropping items off for someone else, please bring their signed Consignor Agreement with you. Thank you!!

Clothes

• Children's clothing: GIRLS sizes 0-3 mos to size 14 and teen/junior sizes and BOYS sizes 0-3 mos to size 14. Must be applicable to Spring/Summer season.
• Sizes Small-XL accepted only if brand and style are for children. We will not accept adult size clothing.
• Children's shoes only - sandals, sneakers, dress shoes appropriate for the season
• Bathing suits
  
• Spring coats/jackets
  
• Summer pajamas
  
• Dance wear 
  
• Jeans, pants, short and long sleeve shirts (lightweight for Spring)
  
• Dresses, shorts, capris, etc.
  
• Maternity Clothing (purchased within the last 5 years) ALL SEASONS ACCEPTED 

Toys, Books, Games, Videos, Misc. 

• Must be in working condition and include all pieces.
  
• Batteries must be included so that the buyers can see that it works. Items without batteries will not be accepted.
  
• Stuffed animals accepted only if they do something...move, make noise etc. Beanie Babies are accepted.
  
• Videos and games in original case only.
  
• Outside toys,beach toys, equipment, etc.
  
• Party supplies - invitations, decorations, etc
  

Infant and Child Accessories

• Nursing/feeding supplies, diaper bags, blankets, etc. We do not accept nursing bras unless they are new in package. We do not accept used nipples, used pacifiers, used teethers, used sippy cups, used plastic spoons (new only)
• Breast pumps are accepted: used tubing removed or replaced.
• Nursery needs: diaper pails, potty chairs, bath seats, guardrails, etc.
• hair bows, belts, etc.

Bedding and Décor

• Comforters, blankets, bumpers, sheets, pillows, etc.
• Picture frames, mobiles, rugs, lamps, etc.—must be child oriented
  
• Mattresses will NOT be accepted

Equipment and Furniture 

• Strollers, walkers, high chairs, exersaucers, jumpers, bikes, playground equipment, etc.
• Toddler beds, bassinets, changing tables and dressers. 
• Equipment must be clean or it will not be accepted.
• Attach any accompanying items securely.
• Broken equipment or items with any missing pieces (stroller trays etc.) will not be accepted.
• Car seats you wish to sell must never have been in an accident and must be manufactured with the past 5 years.   Car seats must have a sticker on the base that gives the manufacturer and date information. If the sticker is missing, we CAN NOT accept it.  Seat covers and straps must be clean. Please also make sure yours is not on the following Recall List or call the toll-free D.O.T. Auto Safety Hotline in Washington, D.C. at 1-888-DASH-2-DOT.
  

We Cannot Accept

• We do not accept underwear or socks, unless they are part of an outfit or in an unopened package. 
  
• Cribs - Sorry, we can no longer accept cribs.  Note: Beginning on June 28, 2011, all cribs sold in the United States must meet the new federal requirements. After that date, it will be illegal to manufacture, sell, contract to sell or resell, lease, sublet, offer, provide for use, or otherwise place in the stream of commerce a crib that does not comply with the CPSC’s new standards for full-size and non-full-size cribs. This includes manufacturers, retail stores, internet retailers, resale shops, auction sites and consumers. Please visit this link for more details. 
  
• Adult Clothing (Maternity only)
  
• No Stuffed Animals (unless they are large for room décor)
  
• Household items

If there is an oversight at check in and we find items on the sales floor that do not meet these standards, Rubber Ducky Kids reserves the right to remove these items.
